Adult LIFE Ministries News Update
We are starting to adapt our programming to the current needs of our congregation and community, hoping to provide members with viable choices in how to participate and stay connected, whether here on site or there in the comfort of your own home.
Threads of LIFE Prayer Shawl Team has begun meeting, Mondays and Fridays at 9:00 am-10:00 am in rooms 11/12 with social distancing. Participants knit/crochet to create tangible expressions of the prayers of our church for those in need of comfort, healing, assurance, and a reminder of God’s presence. Those wanting to knit or crochet prayer shawls are welcome. The meetings will continue on the regular Monday/Friday schedule in 11/12 for the foreseeable future.
Put on some comfortable clothes and try out Be Fit for LIFE/Here and There. You can join the fun Tuesdays at 10:30 am and/or Thursdays at 10:30 am by Zoom. (The Zoom link/invitation will be sent out just prior to the meeting.) Please contact Jan Randolph at janr@christchurchsl.org if you desire to attend the group in person, or if you need assistance in learning to use Zoom.
*The below information may be incorrect due to COVID-19. Please check with Jan if you have any questions.
Focused on both members of our church and individuals within our community, Adult LIFE Ministries are designed for adults seeking to participate in daytime activities at Christ Church.

Bring knitting needles (size 11 or larger suggested) or a crochet hook. If you don't know how to crochet or knit, we will teach you! Can't make it to our gatherings? Consider working independently on prayer shawls and then donating them to be blessed and distributed.
