WE ARE THRILLED TO ANNOUNCE THAT THE EQUIPMENT NEEDED TO FIX THE WATER WELL DRILL WILL BE HEADING TO BULIKE SOON! God bless Christ Church for working so hard to Bring Water Back to Bulike!
Dr. Ronnie Kaluya of Uganda Counseling and Support Services (UCSS) had a wonderful visit this February! He welcomed us to our first Virtual Mission to Uganda and he had the privilege to preach in the Traditional service! He also made time to visit with The Seekers AND the Youth Sunday School Class this time. He was an invited guest to a Medical Mission Conference held by Lakewood Church and got to meet with the new Missions Director at the Harvest! He also met with Rev. Preston Morgan from Clear Lake Church. Dr. Ronnie was very moved by Rev. Dr. Temple’s study of The Chosen and got to top off his short visit with The Infinite Experience Virtual Reality Tour of the International Space Station. He commented that he wasn’t quite sure how he was going to explain “being in space” to his family.

If you can’t join the mission team, there are still plenty of ways to send some love to the people of Uganda by visiting the Fair Trade Store across from the Choir Hall to purchase jewelry, coffee, purses and more. Help Dr. Ronnie of the Uganda Counseling and Support Services change lives one village at a time!
Thank you for helping to send us! Nine Christ Church members had the privilege to travel to Uganda last week and share the love of Christ in big ways. Since our visit last year, the village of Bulike has more crops, more wells, more students and more hope. God is moving in a big way there and we got to be part of their empowerment thru education programs by teaching workshops on knitting, prayer, addiction, crocheting, public speaking, basketball, music and vbs. We also helped construct much needed brick and mortar shelves in their classrooms, bought items from the village craft artisans and our church purchased more acreage to expand the school. Mukama mulungi – God is good!
Here is an update, review, and reflection from a UCSS board member on the difference which the grace of God and your support are making a difference in Bulike & Buluya, upon returning from his recent trip to Uganda.
